How to start communicating earlier to their ICP’s.

Tele2 IoT has achieved great success over the last 10 years and was looking for a more efficient and effective way to introduce communication earlier to their ICP’s, before they had fully enacted their business development plan.

Laura Salmina, Tele2’s Sales Developer, wanted to support her team and ensure that they were in conversations with the right people at the correct time, with accounts that were not publicly speaking about their interest in IoT because of intense competition.

Having been advocates for Ocean.io for the last 2 years, the team at Tele 2 IoT knew exactly how to use the platform to get the accounts that they wanted, but were looking for a way to enter into conversations earlier.

Tele 2 IoT used Ocean’s Intent Data to find research behaviors on intent topics that matched those of accounts interested in the IoT market which hadn’t made a public announcement. “It felt like we had inside information,” said Salmina. Instantly, the team was able to find a list of ICP matches that had been researching IoT topics more than normal over the past 2 weeks.

On top of creating a strong pipeline, the introduction of Ocean Intent Data has improved the performance of more junior members of their team. Salmina is able to provide ICP fit accounts that are actively looking for IoTs solutions, making the selling process smoother and quicker for junior account managers.

Ocean is a great way to ‘level’ the playing field for our junior account managers who haven’t had 30 years to develop their network yet. We can provide them with accurate and reliable accounts to go after while our more senior account managers work their network.
